Disneyland

WOWZA!!! Things are going so fast lately I don't know if I am coming or going. Steve finished spring semester the 7th of May and the 9th we headed off to Disneyland. The drive wasn't too bad. There were only a few potty stops on the way down and the kids really did pretty well. We stopped in Hendersen, NV the first night and it was really nice. The next day we drove the rest of the way to Anaheim it was supposed to be the shortest leg of our trip and I think it ended up to be the longest. We got caught in so much traffic and it never ceased to amaze me that the minute we were stopped and couldn't go anywhere someone had to pee. Once we made it I was a little disappointed in our hotel accomadations it was not what it looked like on the internet. And seeing this was the first time I had ever been to Disneyland I really had no idea where to stay. But the kids loved Disneyland and didn't mind the hotel. They actually liked it because they had bunk beds. We spent the first two days at Disneyland then went down to Sea World for a day then back to Disneyland for the last day. The kids were super excited and never seemed to tire. We tried to get them to ride on every ride. But once they rode on a few they found the ones they liked and wanted to keep riding those. Azzayah's favorite was small world and Xaviers was the Who Framed Roger Rabbit Ride. When we went to Sea World we decided that we wanted to see the beach to. We really didn't have alot of extra time. Sea World took a lot longer then we expected but we did go and most of us had fun...Azzayah didn't. She didn't want to get wet and was mad we were there. Steve tried to entertain her while Xavier and I played in the water. She helped her pick up sea shells but one time they got a little too close to the water just as a big wave came in and Azzayahs feet got a little wet. She was mad and wouldn't stop crying. Xavier and I on the other hand were so wet. We started out a little ways then as Xavier started getting wet we would move a little closer just as the waves were getting bigger. There was one time a wave came all the way to his chest. He loved it. But once Azzayah got mad we headed back home but didn't get far we kept getting stuck in traffic and the kids had to pee I swear every two seconds. It was a long day. We went to Disneyland the next day and was able to see the Celebrate Street Parade Azzayah loved it and got to go on the street and dance with one of the dancers. She was also so excited because she saw Mickey Mouse. We also did a Princess Dinner where the princesses would come around and talk and take pictures and we went to the Pixar Parade in California Adventure. I have tons of pictures on my facebook page so check them out there is way too many to put here. We headed home on a Friday and drove to St. George which was another adventure we got into so much traffic got stuck in Vegas for an hour and a half trying to find a gas station by the time we got to St. George we were so tired. We were in the car FOREVER!! It was so nice to get home but we had alot of fun while we were gone and made a lot of great memories...both good and bad.
